Brief 5: YCN Project pack requirements

After nearly considering labelling the term 'free' on the campaign posters to grab attention, this can't be done as not all the visits are free with an art pass and the pass itself costs around £5.

It's important to meet their requirements like I would a client.

Requirements

-have 'with art fund' at the end of each main phrase as this is what they typically do with their products.

- tone of voice is 'charming with substance, like you are speaking to a friend'

-logo in only 6 of their primary colours

-use underscore as journey line where possible

-programme title to the top left so 'art pass' must be at top left to allow the centre phrase to speak

-stick to logo size min-max

-Don’t set headline, product or programme text at a smaller size than the endorsement

-secondary colour pallette for backgrounds and text other than logos only

-follow colour combinations grid for legibility

-dont make underscore same colour as the SECOND word of a title

-work in a4 a5 a6 or a4 H and refer to digital campaign sizes

-follow grids given

Although there seem to be a lot of restrictions on this project, I enjoy the challenge of working to a set of rules and adding character to it and fun copyrighting. I want to use grids more often so this will be good practice in that, as it makes consistency a lot easier.
