Report finds 80% fear they cannot provide timely, high-quality care to the growing numbers seeking help

More than half of trust bosses said they were unable to meet demand from troubled children and young people. '
Frazzled cafe pioneered by Ruby Wax has come to M&S Cafes including in Leeds, yet no one I know has heard about it and apart from an article saved a while ago have I have never seen it advertised.

Due to the current crisis in mental health services due to cuts in funding and more and more added to waiting lists, having another venture such as this seems like such a useful idea that should be promoted and encouraged a lot more. Sometimes all it takes is to talk about problems to make them a little better whilst perhaps on waiting lists or struggling getting help or advice.

Although the campaign isn't intimidating and uses an appropriate approach in this way, it doesn't appear clear enough or give enough indication as to where these are and seems vague. Creating an ad campaign for the Leeds area reaching out to young people (reported to be at the highest demand for treatment) would be a useful reach in getting those struggling either with education/eating disorder issues for example, a safe place to go and discuss without the waiting lists of the nhs.

It is a sign up session but for a lot of people really struggling to get counselling or treatment this is an avenue they can take in a totally different way.

“We hope that by providing free and calm venues after the cafe has closed, we can help any members of the community who simply need to talk about things and what’s happening in their lives.”

The sessions are
-Fortnightly
-After the cafe has closed to provide a calm stress free environment
-Have to sign up via website
-Young peoples issues amplified due to social media

Target Audience consideration- general public or students?

"Young people feel more pressurised now than a generation ago due to the expectations of their family, their peer group, society and at school. There is also pressure from social media,”
