Brief 1: Perfume advertising inspiration and experimentation list

Marbling- use my marbling inks to achieve a layer that will represent the liquidised combinations of ingredients and colours. Lush use marbling within some of their products that gives an appealing and exciting indication of their scent and make consumers want to test them out

Light Photography- for me to achieve an essence illusion within the advert even as a layer to combine digitally, this will emulate the spritz of the perfume.

Food photography- perhaps if I can get good quality images of the core ingredient to the perfume and digitally manipulate to get the full picture of the notes and aromas within the perfume this could be a professional, realistic way of connecting to the consumers senses

Typographic- Referring back to inital inspirations that tell the consumer the information they need to know in a more fun way, these can also empower and cater to specific audiences for each perfume of which the owner has indicated in the descriptions. Having the descriptions of test samplers reviews and who they see the scent as being ideal for, this can make murals really catered to those audiences and let the scent come alive.

Impulses new body mist campaign which showcases each mist in a really interesting/unique way I haven't seen scents advertised in before. Using rich colour and textures will really intrigue the viewer, mixing what they see imagining a scent. This is done in a really engaging fun way and I can take inspiration from this in terms of representing elements of the scent.

It is crucial we are both at the agreed stages with the project so I have asked Natalie for any images or visuals that she would like them to be styled in for her business.
