My first print method to experiment with will be to etch in to lino a couple of intricate patterns inspired by the luxury brand patterns I have previously collated. These are some of the effects lino can give using different thicknesses and metallic gold inks. Preferably I would use metallic inks, but also experiment with non metallic as the stocks I have already have a shine to them.
The effect of the paint and technique combined give the look of royal, imperialist and specialty to the designs giving them a respected and wondrous look, which for a 100 million pound note is fitting as it is a spectacle in its currency amount. This style also adds elegancy to the Wonka note initial format.
